Our Story

We met as next-door neighbors in Santa Monica, California, when a casual hello by the pool turned into an unforgettable conversation. Our first conversation? Books, of course. It didn’t take long to realize we had the same taste in stories, and the connection was instant.

Our first date was dinner at our favorite local sushi spot, where we shared not only amazing food but also lots of laughs and great conversation.

For the next two years, we lived next door to each other, spending time together and taking care of our dog, Riley - who, by the way, won Lauren over the moment she met her. (It’s no surprise, Riley’s impossible to resist.)

We both love traveling and exploring new places, but honestly, we’re just as happy staying in, curled up with Riley for a cozy movie night. Whether our families are near or far, we cherish every moment spent with them—they’ve shown us what it means to love unconditionally.
